Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and [legal entity name] ("we", "us") for the use of Race Stencil. By creating an account or generating a livery, you accept them. If you do not, do not use the service.

What Race Stencil does

Race Stencil lets a sim racing organization publish the mandatory livery designs its championship requires, and lets drivers apply those designs to their own paint automatically.

We are a tool. We do not create liveries, we do not run championships, and we are not a party to whatever rules an organization sets for its own drivers.

Accounts

You need an account only to run an organization. Drivers do not.

• You must be at least 16 and able to enter a contract.
• Give accurate details and keep your password to yourself.
• You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by people you invite to your organization.
• Tell us at support@racestencil.com if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload — overlays, liveries, logos and banners. You grant us only the licence we need to run the service: to store your files, process them, and display the parts you have chosen to publish.

You must have the right to upload what you upload. This matters more here than in most services, because overlays typically carry sponsor logos:

• If you publish an overlay containing a brand's marks, you confirm you are permitted to use them.
• If you upload a livery, you confirm it is yours to use.
• Neither of us has any relationship with the simulator vendor by virtue of using this service.

We may remove content we reasonably believe is unlawful or infringing. If you believe something on Race Stencil infringes your rights, write to support@racestencil.com with enough detail to identify it and we will review it.

What you may not do

• Upload anything unlawful, hateful, or designed to harass
• Upload malware, or files crafted to attack our processing
• Impersonate another organization or driver
• Try to break, overload, or work around the limits of the service, including its rate limits
• Scrape or bulk-download other organizations' overlays
• Resell access to the service without our agreement

Third-party trademarks

Simulator names, car manufacturers and team names belong to their respective owners. Race Stencil is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Where we refer to a simulator or a vehicle, it is to describe compatibility, nothing more.

Availability

We aim to keep Race Stencil running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may run maintenance without notice. Generated files are temporary by design — download and keep your own copy.

Paid plans

Where a plan is paid, the price, billing period and what it includes are shown before you buy. Unless stated otherwise at the point of sale:

• Charges are billed in advance for the period you choose.
• A subscription continues until you cancel it, and cancelling stops future charges rather than refunding the current period.
• If a payment fails, we may downgrade the organization to the free plan, which can put catalogs beyond the free limit out of reach until payment succeeds.
• We may change prices with reasonable notice, effective from your next billing period.

Statutory rights of withdrawal, where they apply to you, are unaffected.

No warranty

Race Stencil is provided "as is". We do not warrant that a generated livery will be accepted by any simulator, that it will meet a particular championship's rules, or that the service will be error-free. Checking that a finished livery is correct before racing is your responsibility.

Limits of our liability

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss; and our total liability arising from the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using Race Stencil at any time and close your account from Settings. Closing it deletes your organizations, catalogs and uploaded files, and breaks the public links your drivers use.

We may end this agreement if you materially breach these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes we will notify account holders by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Race Stencil after that means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of [country], and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction — without depriving you of any protection given by the mandatory law of the country where you live.
